Traffic Alerts Continue: Commuters Observe More Trucks

goHunterdon has continued to provide free traffic alerts to provide timely information to travelers of Hunterdon County roadways. While traffic volumes are down considerably, alerts have continued to provide essential workers with information on crashes, construction detours, and weather related impacts in recent weeks.

A recent survey of Traffic Alert subscribers indicated that approximately 62% are currently working from home, 20% are still commuting to a worksite, and 6% have been laid off or furloughed.  The remaining 11% noted that they receive the alerts for “other than work related travel”.  Respondents expressed appreciation to goHunterdon for continuing to provide traffic alerts and report that trucks are the majority of the vehicles that they now see on the roads.
