goHunterdon has proudly partnered with the Tewksbury Township Police Department to conduct a Street Smart NJ pedestrian safety campaign.

“Due to the COVID19 pandemic, more people have been working from home and families have been participating in more activities together,” says Chief Tim Barlow, Tewksbury Township Police Department. “We have seen an increase in pedestrian traffic throughout the Township, and even though there has been a decrease in motor vehicle traffic we have not seen a decrease in speeding and distracted driving,” he adds. EV Challenge Provides Electrifying Learning Experience for Hunterdon Middle School Students

According to a new report by Bloomberg New Energy Finance, 58% of global passenger vehicle sales in 2040 will come from electric vehicles.

goHunterdon’s “EV Challenge” offers Hunterdon middle school students an interactive, hands on opportunity to learn about electric vehicles and the future of transportation technology. Rides to Medical Appointments Improving Access to Healthcare

Nearly 400 rides have been provided to patients of Hunterdon Healthcare through a grant secured by goHunterdon from the Horizon Foundation for New Jersey.

The $50,000 grant is being used to subsidize fares for Lyft rides to the Hunterdon Wound Healing Center and select primary care offices affiliated with Hunterdon Healthcare. Coming Next Month: “Cyclists Welcome” Campaign

According to a study by the Outdoor Recreation Association (2017), bicycling participants spend $83 billion on ‘trip-related’ sales (bicycle tourism), and generate $97 billion in retail spending.

goHunterdon, through the Bike Hunterdon initiative, is developing a new campaign to help local businesses capture some of that spending.
